Mission Statement

ITL Mission Statement

The Institute for Theology & Law exists to equip believers to proclaim and defend the essential doctrines of the Christian Faith and apply them in the relevant areas of law, justice, public policy, religious liberty, and human rights.

We hold that Christian theology and practice must address all essential spheres of human relationships and living for us to best flourish individually and as a community in the image of God. These relational spheres include, but are not limited to, the family, the church, business, and civil government. Since Christianity is an entire worldview, our theology must address all aspects of life, including a theology of civil government.

As such we seek to accomplish our mission by providing materials from a variety of sources to educate people on the aforementioned essential issues of theology, apologetics, law, and public policy so that they may know, defend, and apply these important truths.
